You will:
- Develop a broad understanding of business needs and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide alignment of resources and initiative needs
- Lead and develop Principal Engineers, Subject Matter Experts, and engineers to promote growth
- Create, interpret & enforce policy, conduct performance evaluations, and manage employee relations
- Provide strategic leadership to support growing markets, technology advancements, and industry trends
- Lead regular project update meetings, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Provide guidance, mentorship, and strategic direction across special projects and core development teams.
- Present to and work with senior level management regarding trends, including supporting the development of products, services, and tooling.
- Using knowledge of the market & competitors, support the development initiatives related to our Main Automation Partner journey
- Interview key stake holders across the business, developing an informed position our capabilities
- Support the development of relationships with both new and existing external stakeholders
- Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing in support of new opportunities
- Interface at multiple levels, including senior executives, responding promptly to needs, and solicit feedback to improve services
- Plan approaches and pitches by working with team to develop presentations that speak to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives
- Champion and create solutions by studying information needs, conferring with associates, and understanding our systems, data, and processes.
- Create, maintain, and improve codebases: Refactor and optimize existing code to improve performance and maintainability. Implement rigorous code reviews and quality assurance processes, and maintain clean, scalable code
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for process improvements and innovation.
- Build and maintain relevant certifications with, and in support of key partnerships, including Aveva, Ignition, Rockwell, and others.
- Lead "Project Execution Environment" (e.g. centralized lab) initiative to address gaps in current paradigm, identify, implement, and champion improvements, and establish a virtuous cycle yielding innovative outcomes
- Create and enable trade show demos and presentations.
- Publish white papers and support the creation of promotional material related to leading industry trends.
- Present to Internal and External Stake holders on strategic initiatives
- Be an ambassador that prioritizes the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the careers of our associates.
- A Bachelor's of Science Degree in Engineering or related field.
- 10 years of experience with Engineering Technology.
- 5 years of experience in a management/leadership role.
- Ability to communicate to all audiences to drive and enable positive change in the organization.
