Position Overview:
E-Therapy is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven New Business Developer to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for driving the company’s business development efforts, specifically focused on expanding our reach within K-12 school districts nationwide. As a New Business Developer, you will be the face of E-Therapy in building and nurturing relationships, generating new leads, and successfully closing sales for our special education and mental health services.
This is a key position that reports directly to the VP of Sales and works closely with our marketing, finance, and operations teams. You will play an integral role in helping E-Therapy achieve its growth goals by identifying opportunities and establishing partnerships with schools and school districts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within K-12 school districts and educational organizations.
- Drive the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, including cold calling, emailing, and presenting E-Therapy’s services.
- Conduct in-person and virtual presentations and pitches to potential customers, showcasing E-Therapy's teletherapy services and solutions.
- Attend industry conferences and events to network, generate leads, and represent E-Therapy.
- Participate in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and follow up to close deals.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to develop effective sales strategies.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
- Maintain an active sales funnel and track all leads in E-Therapy’s CRM system.
- Regularly follow up with leads, customers, and prospects to ensure satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Meet or exceed established sales quotas and targets.
- Travel as needed for in-person meetings and conferences.
- Participate in and support company initiatives such as conferences, client meetings, and promotional events.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience within the K-12 education sector, preferably with a focus on special education services, mental health counseling, or related fields.
- Proven track record of generating and closing new business sales.
- Familiarity with the K-12 educational space, including the challenges and opportunities related to speech therapy, occupational therapy, and other special education services.
- Experience in working with sales CRM systems, email marketing tools, and social media platforms.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both in-person and virtually.
- Ability to engage and build rapport with potential clients through cold calling, meetings, and emails.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiar with web video conferencing tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Skype, etc.).
- Comfortable with contract negotiations and closing sales deals.
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 20% of the time).
- Positive, professional, and charismatic demeanor with a strong customer-service orientation.
- A self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
