School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - ONSITE Opportunities in Anchorage, AK
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in providing speech and language therapy services to students in PreK-12 schools.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students' needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication goals
- Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
