SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, top performing Active Trader Consultant. The Active Trader Consultant is responsible for new account acquisition by educating prospective clients on our full suite of products and value proposition, and effectively onboarding them onto the E*TRADE platform. In addition to closing the initial sale, the Sales Consultant will also assume responsibilities for relationship development with new clients, with a goal of increasing asset migration and retention.
About the Role
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Primary focus will be to make outbound sales calls on marketing leads, referrals from our customer support team and contacts from webinars and live events.
- Manage relationship with new clients, serve as a point of contact to help onboard and educate prospects on our value proposition.
- Partner with customer service, marketing, product and operations to provide an optimal customer experience.
- Facilitate Active Trader appointments with clients providing advanced strategy, tools and platform education directly connected to referrals from Service, Sales and Platinum representatives.
- Provide education to clients aligning their trading strategies and outlook on the market with risk management needs including the use of margin, options, and portfolio margin accounts as appropriate.
- Attend and support Investor Education day events, Trading Webinars, Money Shows and Expos with a goal to drive 1:1 client appointments and impact acquisition and retention of Active Trader clients.
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:- Minimum of 3 years of financial services experience, preferably in sales.
- Series 7 and 63 required, must obtain Series 3 within 90 days of hire
- Client facing experience in the brokerage industry
- Thorough understanding of equity and option markets.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (MS Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Ability to Travel
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
- Experience with CRM software
- Futures Experience preferred
