Job Description
E-XTEQ LLC is looking for a Warehouse Manager to oversee the warehouse operations and activities. The Warehouse Manager will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Ultimately the manager should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly. We are looking for a working manager who can operate a forklift as needed to help with the team when we are short on staff as well. Duties/Responsibilities:
-Oversee receiving, shipping, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
-Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
-Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
-Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
-Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
-Manage stock control and reconcile with the data storage system.
-Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies.
-Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees.
-Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock reports, etc.)
-Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.
-Maintain relationships with vendors to ensure quality supply management services.
-Report any issues or problems to management immediately.
-Work with logistics managers to help solve problems of inventory storage and handling of goods (e.g. picking, packing, shipping).
-Maintain accurate records and complete reports in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Skills:
-Proven work experience as a warehouse manager.
-Cycle counting / order checking.
-Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
-Strong knowledge of Warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
-Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Proven experience in planning and organizing warehouse operations with strong experience in inventory management.
-Ability to lead team members by example and help train others how to perform their job duties correctly.
-Strong knowledge of warehousing practices and procedures; ability to explain them clearly to non-warehouse specialists.
-Ability to prioritize work load effectively and manage time effectively in order to complete all tasks on schedule
Must be computer literate and have knowledge of spreadsheets.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
