All new starts begin as a contract employee thru an agency. After a paid8-weekon-site training candidates will be offered the option to work from home. The schedule for the first 4 weeks is 8:30am - 5pm Monday - Friday. The rest of Training will still be on-site, but the schedule will switch to the regular shift of 11:30am - 8:15pm with a Saturday rotation. Schedule is non-negotiable. Once the Trainee and Supervisor agree that the CSR can answer calls without extensive assistance, the CSR will be scheduled to start working from home. The timeline for working from home is at the discretion of the on-site supervisor.
Under the direction of a Customer Service Supervisor, the Call Center CSR is the primary customer interface for the EZPass MD and Pay-By-Plate MD program in accordance with TransCore and MDTA standards of performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handling of all customer issues.
- Perform account maintenance, including account changes, transponder changes, recertification, additional tag requests, replenishments, adjustments, and statement requests.
- Assist in the reduction of Production backlog (i.e. web applications, add tag requests, emails etc.)
- Process special accounts including Resident, Carpool, Surety, Taxi, as well as Private, Commercial and Pay-By-Plate accounts.
- Contact customers for additional account information.
- Meet MDTA standards and deadlines.
- Perform other duties as directed by TransCore management and supervisory staff.
