Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience with various machinery and equipment. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the raw metals that come through the facility.
Duties
- Operate and monitor machinery, including Water jet machines, Centerless grinders, bandsaw machines.
- Assemble components and packages according to specifications using CAD drawings.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
- Implement GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure precision in manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production goals efficiently.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations at all times.
Experience
- Proven 3-4 years experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various types of machinery, including welding equipment.
- Familiarity with programming logic controllers and CNC operations is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including CAD drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
