Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a vital liaison between victims and various social services agencies.
- Support Spanish and English-speaking victims in the preparation and submission of necessary paperwork for victims’ compensation.
- Maintain accurate case records in compliance with established guidelines.
- Collaborate with other victim services agencies to ensure there is no overlap in services provided.
- Provide essential backup and administrative support to the CAC Division Director.
- Compile and present monthly and quarterly statistical reports.
- Assist with administrative tasks within the Child Advocacy Center.
- Accurately complete Medical Staff Vouchers and submit Purchase Orders for provided services.
- Manage the Medical Staff database and maintain requisite records.
- When necessary, transport and escort clients to appointments, ensuring safety and compliance with child restraint regulations.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is mandatory.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and database software.
- Knowledge of administrative procedures is required.
- Possession of a valid NYS driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- An Associate’s Degree is required; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in victim advocacy or a similar field is necessary.
