Salary : $64,350-70,000 / annually
Schedule : 9AM-5PM, Monday- Friday
Location : Brooklyn, NY
Reports to : Division Director
What drives the core purpose of this job :
The Supervisor / Coordinator is responsible for assisting in managing staff and the day to day operations of the Brooklyn Criminal Treatment Courts Case Management & Recovery Support Services program and providing counseling, vocational assistance, job development and placement with economic self-sufficiency as the objective of the counseling process.
What are the key responsibilities :
- Work with Division Director to establish procedures and systems to track program data.
- Conference cases with the Program Director to determine eligibility and assign caseloads to Case Managers.
- Train staff on screening and assessment tools and evidenced based interventions.
- Investigate and arrange supportive services for clients.
- Work with Division. Director to review staff performance and provide feedback.
- GPRA assessments. Collect and track program data compiling accurate information to complete and / or assist evaluators in completing quarterly, bi-annual and / or annual reports to funders in a timely fashion.
- Provide regular and on-going supervision to staff.
- Communicate with the Division Director regularly in regard to progress, barriers, and staff situations.
- Assist Division Director with personnel matters, including hiring.
- Represent the program at stakeholder meetings and conferences when needed.
- Function as the agency liaison with community providers. .
- Maintain individual client case files.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, in-service workshops and seminars.
- Explore and become familiar with new community resources for referral purposes.
- Prepare required forms and keep statistics on client contacts, referrals, job activities, etc.
- Supervise staff and volunteers and train as per agency and partner regulations.
