- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, providing accurate and helpful information
- Schedule appointments for patients, coordinating with dental providers and keeping track of outstanding claims
- Manage patient records and ensure information is accurately recorded and updated in the electronic system
- Verify and process insurance claims, working closely with insurance providers to understand coverage and resolve any issues
- Collect and post payments from patients, and assist with billing and financial inquiries
- Coordinate with dental provider to ensure a smooth flow of patients and address any scheduling conflicts or issues
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and order new supplies as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a dental office required
- Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Office and dental management software
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes is a plus
- Bilingual language skills (English/Spanish) is a strong asset
