EAG is starting the search for a Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team.
The Accounts Payable Clerk will manage appropriate invoice coding, problem-solving, and organizational skills to fulfill the responsibilities outlined below and generate quality results.
Strong time management, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization, are essential along with the ability to work as part of a team. All members of the EAG team are expected to actively participate in our team environment, communicate with our customers in a professional and service-oriented manner, and identify process improvement and optimization opportunities. As EAG continues to grow, members must be able to handle changing priorities, new challenges, and multi-tasking.
Key Responsibilities

Coding AP invoices in Enverus OpenInvoice for multiple clients.

Route AP invoices for approval.

Address identified coding errors.

Dispute invoices at clients request.

Meet client AP deadlines.

Work with AP manager to address client and vendor inquiries.

Ensure internal controls are followed.

Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.

Demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.

Conduct business following the highest ethical standards.

Meet deadlines and be able to work in a dynamic environment.

Experience, and Educational Requirements (Minimum Qualifications):

2 years of experience working as an accounts payable accountant in the oil and gas industry is preferred.

Experience with invoice data capture and/or document management systems such as OpenInvoice, DocVue and M-Files is preferred, but not required.

Experience with Bolo, Enertia, Quorum OnDemand Accounting (formerly OGSYS), OGSQL, NetSuite is preferred, but not required.

Sitting/Standing/Flexibility: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods (8 hours or more) in an office environment.

Communication Skills (Speech/Reading): Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English. Ability to understand and deliver instructions in multiple formats, including written, verbal, diagram, and schedule forms.

Lifting Requirements: Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 10 pounds as needed.
