Duties
- Assist in loading and unloading cargo from vessels, ensuring proper handling techniques are used.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and tools.
- Operate small boats or watercraft as needed for transportation or support tasks.
- Monitor river conditions and report any hazards or issues to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to execute daily operational tasks efficiently.
- Participate in safety drills and training sessions to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and assist with repairs as necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role or environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
