EBA ENGAGEMENT PASTOR // EAGLE BROOK CHURCH
JOB OBJECTIVES
- Spearheads Eagle Brook Church Association (EBA) efforts to bring training to churches around the country and world
- Networks with senior ministry leaders and pastors to gain influence, build trust and offer leadership wisdom
- Leverages relationships, marketing and promotions to identify host sites and invite ministry leaders to training events and ongoing professional coaching
- Assists with EBA coaching program through mentoring, consulting and ministry knowledge
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Manages ongoing connections with Converge Regional and National Presidents and Vice Presidents to expand EBA influence within our denomination
- Networks with senior leaders of various denominations and church networks to gain influence as a trusted leader in leadership development
- Coaches pastors, leadership teams and boards to implement the vision culture, lead through difficult change, develop their team leaders and create invitational experiences
- Recruits new churches for EBA trainings by networking with key church leaders locally, nationally and globally
- Works to identify host locations for EBA training sessions and oversees the training calendar and equips host sites with resources needed to successfully host training sessions
- Strengthens and maintains relationships with EBA alumni churches to ensure long-term engagement and results
- Works closely with EBA Director and Eagle Brook’s Creative Teams to increase EBA brand awareness and targeted marketing campaigns
- Indirectly influences other leaders of leaders of an external audience to lead, challenge, teach, encourage, support and keep them accountable to accomplishing the mission through their churches
- Formulates EBA budget by providing input into developing and administrating budget, tracking expenditures and reporting on budget variances
- Provides Biblical teaching in group settings and participates in pastoral duties including baptism, weddings, funerals, hospital visits, and after-hours care
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
- Helps manage EBA church database in collaboration with EBA Data & Logistics Administrator
- Responds to emails, voicemails and questions from church leaders through EBA email account
- Measures the performance of EBA strategies
- Collaborates with EBA Director on continuous expansion of EBA’s influence and impact
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications
- Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook Church’s nine core beliefs
- Bachelor’s degree in related area
- 10 years of leading in a church setting
- 10 years of pastoral experience
- Expertise in networking and recruiting
- Expertise in relationship building and management
- Expertise in coaching and consulting executive-level leaders
- Proficiency in Salesforce software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Team player
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in related area
- 8 years of Eagle Brook Church pastoral experience
JOB DETAILS
- Location: Hugo, MN
- Status: Exempt / Salary
- Salary Range: $65,000-$78,000
- Full/Part Time: Full Time
- Regular/Temporary: Regular/Temporary
- Workdays: Monday – Friday (generally)
- Work Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (generally)
- Remote Eligible: may be eligible to work from home one day per week
- Ministry/Department: Global and Generosity

- Regular communicating with others to exchange information
- Occasional remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
