FACILITIES ASSISTANT // EAGLE BROOK CHURCH
JOB OBJECTIVES
- Supports campus ministries and events by helping to keep the campus clean and welcoming to attenders
- Completes event set-up and tear-down duties as assigned
- Reports to the Facilities Manager
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assists with Facilities duties, including set-up and tear-down for all campus events
- Maintains the cleanliness of the facility (i.e., vacuuming, trash, restrooms, general cleaning, etc.)
- Helps to maintain building furnishings, equipment and operating systems
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
- Supports safety and security for the campus
- Clears walkways as needed
- Distributes daily deliveries
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Qualifications
- Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook Church’s nine core beliefs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Ability to physically clean and operate cleaning equipment
- Ability to anticipate what is needed for a clean building that meets standards set by leadershipJOB DETAILS

- Status: Non-exempt/hourly
- Salary Range: $16.00 - $17.50
- Full/Part Time: Full Time
- Regular/Temporary: Regular
- Workdays: varies (expected to work a minimum of 26 weekends per year)
- Work Hours: flexible day and evening hours

WORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Regular moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
- Regular remaining in a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods
- Occasional assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned
- Occasional communicating with others to exchange information
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like
- Occasional moving of self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, including tight and confined spaces
- Occasional repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Occasional operating machinery and/or power tools
- Occasional light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions
- Occasional medium work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions
- Occasional heavy work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 100 pounds or more in all directions
