We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Facilities Assistant based in the west, Minnesota metro. In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring the functionality, safety, and efficiency of our facility. You will be expected to coordinate facility services, manage office equipment, and contribute to various facility projects. Responsibilities
- Coordinating the smooth operation and function of the facility, including necessary maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
- Liaising with contractors and service providers to ensure quality work is performed on time and within budget.
- Assisting in the implementation of health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with environmental and other regulations.
- Managing space allocation and layout, and coordinating office moves as needed.
- Maintaining stock of office supplies and placing orders when necessary.
- Responding to facility and equipment alarms and system failures.
- Conducting regular inspections of facilities to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
- Preparing and implementing a preventative maintenance schedule for company facilities.
- Excellent communication skills are required to effectively liaise with various stakeholders including staff, vendors, and contractors.
- Experience with conference room management, including scheduling and setup, is crucial.
- Outstanding customer service skills are necessary to respond to facility-related inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
- Previous experience as a Facilities Coordinator or similar role is desirable.
