Eagle Brook Church is a multi-site church looking for an organized, relational, and servant hearted Facilities Manager to join our campus team. POSITION SUMMARY
Ensures that the campus is ready to receive and execute ministry events by overseeing all campus facilities needs and operations. Responsible for creating a clean and safe environment for all campus usage. Leads teams of staff and volunteers. Reports to Pastor of Campus Operations.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads, manages, and develops Facilities staff
- Recruits, trains, and coordinates volunteer support for facilities related functions
- Partners with Central partners to manage campus grounds and maintenance needs, and other identified projects
- Maintains the function of buildings, furnishings, equipment, supplies, and operating systems
- Manages and schedule Facilities calendar and staff coverage to meet the needs of campus events (i.e., weekend services, ministry activity, and special events)
- Oversees and contributes to facilities duties including preparation, support, and clean up for all campus events
- Responsible for campus facilities budget
- Assesses and communicates opportunities for maintaining Eagle Brook brand standards for campus environments (i.e., capital investment requests)
- Arranges professional services for building and systems maintenance with service providers
- Assists in training campus staff on emergency procedures and ensuring safety and security for the campus
- Adjusts HVAC, lighting schedules, and various systems as needed for campus needs
- Other projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or vocational certification in Facilities Management preferred
- 2 years of experience building, leading, and developing effective employee and volunteer teams
- Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook’s nine core beliefs
- Strong supervisory and team building skills
- Effective communication skills; written, verbal, and interpersonal
- Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
- Aptitude for understanding and operating mechanical systems including HVAC and lighting systems
- Proven effective budgeting and departmental planning skills
- Facilities management, maintenance, and buildings/grounds management preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA laws and regulations preferred
WORK SCHEDULE
Works a flexible schedule including day and evening hours. Expected to work minimum of 26 weekends per year.
