GENEROSITY ADVANCEMENT MANAGER // EAGLE BROOK CHURCH
JOB OBJECTIVES
- Cultivates a culture that elevates Eagle Brook’s value of “Live Generously”
- Develops and executes comprehensive fundraising strategies and plans to secure financial support for future Eagle Brook expansion
- Develops relationships with financial partners and implements engagement strategies to serve as a resource, as well as increase the level of generosity throughout the church
- Reports to the Generosity Director
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Leads and directs campaign specific events and gatherings to increase engagement with attenders
- Provides oversight for Vision Weekend, an annual initiative for Generosity
- Partners with cross-functional teams to ensure financial partner dinners and Vision Weekend are planned and executed successfully
- Maintains a portfolio of households and individuals who give at a significant threshold and engages that audience through a variety of ways, including one on one meetings, events and other communications
- Manages hard-hat tours and gatherings at new campus locations
- Maintains accurate financial partner records and tracking systems to ensure proper acknowledgement and communication
- Oversees Generosity-targeted communication and content creation related to expansion
- Manages an assigned budget
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
- Manages intent tracking spreadsheets and documents on behalf of the Generosity team
- Researches creative and relevant ideas to help improve funding for expansion efforts
- Participates in additional Generosity projects through ideation and editing
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications
- Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook Church’s nine core beliefs
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of development, fundraising or comparable work experience
- High level understanding of fundraising principles and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to build rapport with financial partners
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and maintain strong relationships
- Adaptable in changing environments while maintaining a positive and helpful attitude
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and church management systems
JOB DETAILS
- Location: Hugo, MN
- Status: Exempt/Salary
- Salary Range: $65,000 - $73,000
- Full/Part Time: Full Time
- Regular/Temporary: Regular
- Workdays: Monday – Friday with occasional weekends
- Work Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with occasional evening hours
- Remote Eligible: may be eligible to work remotely one day per week

- Regular communicating with others to exchange information
- Occasional moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another

- Regular assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned
- Occasional light work that includes adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions
- Occasional medium work that includes adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions
