POSITION SUMMARY
Champions Eagle Brook’s value of Connecting in Community by casting and implementing vision for groups at a campus by focusing on two primary wins: creating engaging experiences and building transformational relationships. Provides ways for people to get connected to one another in groups. Invites people to serve others by leading groups. Equips and develops volunteer group leaders. Collaborates with the central Groups team and peers at other campuses. Reports to the Campus Pastor.
JOB OBJECTIVES

- Provides ways for people to get connected to one another in groups
- Invites people to serve others by leading groups
- Equips and develops volunteer group leaders
- Collaborates with the central Groups & Recovery Ministries team and peers at other campuses
- Reports to the Campus Pastor
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Connects people to groups and develops volunteer group leaders
- Implements and facilitates strategies to connect attenders to groups
- Leverages personal conversation, smaller group opportunities and larger group experiences for directing people toward community
- Casts vision and creates development plan to multiply leaders from within existing groups
- Collaborates with central Groups & Recovery Ministries team to identify strategies for the value of Connecting in Community
- Works cross-functionally with a wide variety of central and campus teams
- Manages an assigned budget
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
- Pastoral oversight of care ministries as assigned (i.e., Quest 180, DivorceCare, GriefShare)
- Performs pastoral duties, including visits, baptisms, weddings, funerals and pastor on duty
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications
- Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook Church’s nine core beliefs
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience (typically 4 years)
- 5 years leading a small group
- 2 years of experience building, leading and developing effective volunteer and leader teams
- Strong desire to develop others
- Self-starter
- Skilled in problem solving and conflict resolution
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, team and cross-function environments
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Meets Biblical qualifications for pastoral leadership with strong evidence of a Christ-centered life
- Proficient in public speaking
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, seminary training or equivalent combination of education and experience (typically 8 years)
JOB DETAILS
- Location: Wayzata, MN
- Status: Exempt/Salary
- Salary Range: $55,000 – $63,000
- Full/Part Time: Full Time
- Regular/Temporary: Regular
- Workdays: Saturday – Wednesday or Sunday – Thursday, depending on the service schedule at assigned campus (must be able to meet when volunteers are available or pastoral care is needed)
- Work Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with evening hours for services, events and meetings
- Remote Eligible: varies by role

WORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Regular communication with others to exchange information
- Regular repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Regular assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned
- Occasional moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
- Occasional sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing
- Occasional light work that includes adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions
