Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated childcare teacher to join our daycare center. The ideal candidate will have a background in childcare and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and educational environment for toddlers and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development through engaging activities that promote learning and growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to toddlers and preschool children in a safe and stimulating environment.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor playtime, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in daycare settings, nannying, or childcare is highly desirable.
- Experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children are crucial traits for success in this role.
Licenses/Certifications ( if the candidate does not have these then Eagle Care will provide)
- CPR/First Aid
- Child Development
- Abusive Head Trauma
- Daycare Center safe practices
- Any other DHS required trainings
- Must complete and pass a fingerprint background check
