What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Counselor position at Eagle Consulting, Counseling Division?
WHO YOU ARE:
- Fully licensed counselor (LPC, LICSW, or LMFT) in the state of Alabama
- Able to see clients either 1) onsite at our Huntsville or Decatur locations, 2) virtually via telehealth/video visits, or 3) a mixture of both onsite and telehealth visits
- Looking to join a team who will provide all of the necessary essential systems to make your practice easier

HOW WE DO IT: We are innovative and accessible with in-office sessions and/or telehealth/video sessions. We recognize that video counseling is a great way to maintain a client’s progress if in-person sessions aren’t feasible; we are able to provide telehealth counseling for clients that live anywhere in the state of Alabama. We meet clients where they are with compassion, understanding, and kindness.
Our counselors offer therapy sessions that can cover a wide range of personal goals or struggles, including:
- Individual counseling
- Vocational counseling
- Relationship, premarital, and marriage counseling
- Family counseling (as a group, or individually)

Eagle accepts self/private pay as well as 10 insurance plans and 15 EAP providers, enabling our clients to seek out counseling while still having the ability to fit their sessions into their budgets.
HOW WE WILL HELP YOU:
- Our Eagle administrative team takes care of all credentialing, billing, accounts receivable, referrals, scheduling, intakes, phone calls, and more!
- We handle the insurance, you see the clients.
- Schedules are as flexible as you need with competitive rates for part-time or full-time counselors.
- We'll help you grow your caseload by providing marketing support and assistance setting consultations and initial visits.
- Accessible to clients residing anywhere in the state of Alabama virtually via Telehealth.
- We provide practice management software and opportunities for CEUs.
- Collaborate in weekly case reviews with an encouraging, knowledgeable team of other licensed counselors who are always just a call, an email, or just a few feet away to answer questions and offer support.
