Salary: $69,118-$82,941. The maximum pay for this position is $96,765.

As an Eagle County CFAS Intake Caseworker I, you'll be responsible for protecting children and youth from abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am - 5pm. Flexible work arrangement after 6 months is possible. On-call is required.

Colorado Realistic Social Caseworker Job Preview

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, document case notes, and report findings accurately and professionally.
  • Develop and implement plans to promote child safety and family stability.
  • Connect clients with essential services and resources.
  • Respond to after-hours safety concerns as part of a team.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of child welfare best practices and regulations.
  • Complete annual training provided by the Colorado Department of Human Services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, psychology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • One year of casework experience in a human services agency is required.
  • Completion of CO Dept. of Human Services New Child Welfare Caseworker Academy required.
  • Valid CO driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Culturally competent and committed to upholding Eagle County's core values.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
