Hiring Range : $69,118-$82,941. The maximum pay for this position is $96,765.
The Department of Human Services (DHS) directly touches the lives of thousands of Eagle County residents every year. From helping families and individuals access programs that put food on the table, warm their homes, and find childcare to protecting those too young or too old to protect themselves, DHS is the team of people who ensure families and individuals in our community have what they need to live a stable life now and in the future.
The Family Support Services (FSS) program is a team within the Children, Family, and Adult Services division of DHS. FSS strives to prevent child maltreatment by engaging families in case management services.
Schedule : Typically Monday-Friday 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm with some evening visits to meet the needs of families. This position will be expected to travel to our various locations throughout the Eagle River Valley and Roaring Fork Valley.
- A flexible work arrangement is possible after completing 6 months of employment.

Job Summary :
Eagle County's Family Support Services Family Advocate provides voluntary, family-centered case management services for families reported to the child welfare program who do not rise to the level of protective service intervention and / or are referred to the program following the initial child welfare assessment.
