What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Support Representative position at Eagle Distributing Inc?
The Sales Support Rep reporting directly to the Sales Support Manager is responsible for meeting all sales and merchandising standards in their assigned accounts. This includes on-premises line cleaning, event delivery and customer resets to name a few. This position is the first step on the road to being a beverage sales representative.
- Merchandise and rotate products based on date codes and demand.
- Sell and build displays for large retail accounts.
- Assist with store resets, learning planograms and customer buying patterns.
- Sell draught products and service systems for bars and restaurants.
- Monitor and report all competitive activity.
- Sell new products and increase distribution of high-ed, primary, and secondary brands.
- Ensure all Points of Sell (POS) are clean, functional, and updated. All outdated POS must be removed from the accounts and permanent signs in need of repair must be picked up and repaired following our Neon Repair Process.
- Fulfill pre-established sales objectives and implementations of company marketing programs at the retail level.
- Survey and influence retail accounts to ensure a competitive edge in dominant POS placement, price pints, shelf space, and product location.
- Execute special assignments and impact selling objectives as assigned by management.
- Work with sales and delivery teams to meet objectives.
- Cover sales routes as a relief salesperson.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
High School Diploma or GED
