Job Summary :
We are looking for a Senior Mobile Tester with extensive experience in mobile device testing and cloud-based mobile testing tools. The ideal candidate must have hands-on expertise in HeadSpin and / or SNAP (Procal) for mobile testing and monitoring. This role requires in-depth knowledge of real-world mobile performance testing, device-OS-carrier compatibility, and network testing across 4G, 5G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi environments.
Key Responsibilities :
Mobile Device & Performance Testing :
- Conduct extensive testing on Android and iOS devices across multiple carriers and operating system versions.
- Utilize HeadSpin and SNAP (Procal) to monitor real-world device performance under actual network conditions.
- Perform end-to-end mobile app testing, including functional, performance, and network testing on 4G, 5G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi environments.
- Execute Device-OS-Carrier compatibility testing for pre-release devices to ensure seamless user experience.
- Measure latency, packet loss, network throughput, and app performance across different geographical regions.
Cloud-Based Mobile Testing & Lab Setup :
Set up and manage a cloud-based mobile testing lab using platforms like HeadSpin, SNAP (Procal) , BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or Perfecto Mobile.Establish a mobile test environment integrating real devices, simulators, and cloud-based testing solutions.Automate test execution and monitoring across multiple devices and networks.Design and maintain a scalable device farm to support diverse testing scenarios for Verizon mobile applications.Carrier & International Performance Testing :
Conduct carrier-specific testing for Verizon and other major network providers, analyzing performance variations across regions.Validate call quality, VoLTE, and VoWiFi features on different carrier networks.Perform international roaming tests to assess mobile app and network performance under varying network conditions.Analyze network logs and KPIs to identify potential bottlenecks affecting app performance.Monitoring & Reporting :
Implement real-time mobile performance monitoring to track key metrics like CPU usage, memory, battery consumption, and network stability.Generate detailed test reports with root cause analysis for performance degradation or network failures.Work closely with developers, product teams, and network engineers to resolve mobile app and network-related issues.Required Skills & Experience :
5-10 years of experience in mobile testing (Android & iOS).Expertise in HeadSpin and / or SNAP (Procal) for mobile testing and monitoring.Strong knowledge of real-world device testing on actual carrier networks (4G, 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth).Experience with cloud-based mobile testing tools (e.g., HeadSpin, SNAP, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Perfecto).Hands-on experience with Device-OS-Carrier Compatibility Testing for pre-release devices.Experience in setting up and managing a mobile testing lab with real devices and cloud-based tools.Knowledge of network testing, mobile app performance testing, and international performance monitoring.Proficiency in log analysis using tools like adb, Charles Proxy, Wireshark, or Xcode Instruments.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teamsPlease send your resumes to :
