Job Description
Eagle Hill is proactively recruiting experienced Change Management Consultants to support the change management component of a large technology modernization program in the Federal sector. This project requires weekly travel to locations throughout the United States and the consultants would be required to work on client site Monday to Friday. Responsibilities of the Change Management Consultants may include:
- Prepare, schedule and execute change management engagement efforts such as stakeholder interviews as outlined in the Change Management Strategy
- Create, facilitate and complete Change Impact Analysis documentation for stakeholder groups
- Attend and/or lead meetings with various clients and/or user groups
- Attend local workshops and workgroup activities; summarize outputs and update change impact analysis to support change management tactics
- Attend various Change Management meetings and raise awareness of the modernization effort
- Engage with assigned stakeholder groups to prepare for adoption of the system
- Prepare, attend, and/or lead specific Change Management events
- Assess the stakeholder(s) through various change management measurement efforts and collaborate with program leads to maintain the change management plan and develop action plans to mitigate risks as necessary
- Lead presentations to demonstrate key features and functions of the new system for end users
- Train, assist, and consult the Change Leadership Team weekly to prepare for increased adoption of the system
- Support the program lead in the completion of the work plan and/or stakeholder specific plans
- Perform weekly documentation related to change management execution efforts
- Develop and maintain trusted client and other stakeholder relationships
- Develop familiarity with relevant technologies
- Overtime, these individuals may work on other projects across Eagle Hill’s service lines and industry sectors
Qualifications
What are the Required Qualifications?
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Availability for weekly travel, Monday-Friday, to cities throughout the United States
- Ability to work on client site(s) 5 days per week
- Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of applied Change Management experience, with a preference for at least 2 years in an external client-facing environment
- Experience executing change management plans and developing associated deliverables
- Ability to creatively solve problems using past experience, and interpersonal and analytical skills
- Proven track record in developing relationships, gaining trust, and building credibility with clients and other stakeholders
- Excellent oral and written communication skills across audiences
- Possess an empathetic, collaborative, and curious mindset
- Proficient in MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Technical aptitude; able to quickly learn new technology platforms
- Ability to remain flexible and adaptable during times of change and ambiguity
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to successfully complete and retain any company, federal or other background investigations required to perform client work
Desired Qualifications
- Experience planning and driving the execution of complex and/or large-scale technical change management initiatives in the Federal health space to include change readiness assessments, stakeholder analyses, strategic communications, training design and delivery, and data analytics/metrics monitoring
- Highly developed project and program management experience, to include developing and managing scope, budget, and schedule
- Knowledge and/or certification in industry methodologies, such as Prosci, preferred
Compensation: A reasonable expectation for a starting salary range is: $117 – 150K base. This range is reflective of the DMV (District of Columbia/Maryland/Northern Virginia) job market for consultants hired at the Manager level and may vary based on applicant's residence. Ultimately, salary range depends on the level hired for and considers additional factors such as experience, skills, job location, and role specific responsibilities.
