We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounts, and maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records through double entry bookkeeping practices.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
- Provide insights on account discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Experience
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with corporate accounting practices and principles is essential.
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and public accounting standards is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform account analysis effectively.
- Experience with governmental accounting practices is desirable but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in using accounting software, particularly Quick books, Excel etc, is preferred.
- Strong organization skills
