About the Role
Eagle Point School District 9 is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our
Special Services team. In this role, you will provide essential educationally related occupational therapy services to students with a variety of cognitive,
emotional, or physical disabilities. Working closely under the direction of a certified occupational therapist, you will collaborate with educators,
families, and other professionals to support the unique needs of each student, ensuring they can fully access and benefit from their
educational experience. Your role is integral to helping students achieve their goals, participatemeaningfully in school activities, and thrive in their learning environment.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for a dedicated and flexible professional who is passionate about supporting ALL STUDENTS and fostering an inclusive, adaptive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will have an active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of Oregon and
be certified by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). You should hold an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in
Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution and have prior experienceworking with students facing diverse cognitive, emotional, or physical challenges.
Strong collaboration skills are essential, as you’ll work alongside occupational therapists, teachers, families, and outside agencies.
You should demonstrate adaptability to meet the ever-changing needs of students, while showing empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills.
A willingness to contribute beyond the classroom and engage in the broader school community is highly valued.
Candidates who are bilingual, particularly in Spanish, are strongly encouraged to apply.

Position Title: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
Placement: District Wide - Placement to be determined
Supervisor: Principal or Designee
Contract Days: 179 days per year / 8 hours per day
Salary Range: $23.86 - $32.46. Salary placement will be dependent upon verified full-time experience.
Includes an excellent benefits package, including 6% PERS retirement "employee contribution" paid by the District, and tuition reimbursement available
Position will begin Septemeber 2025, with screening to begin immediately.
