At Eagle Springs Golf Club, we are seeking a skilled Golf Course Maintenance Team Member to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the upkeep of our beautiful golf course and grounds.
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to maintain the highest standards of turf management, ensuring our golf course remains in exceptional condition for our members and guests.
Responsibilities
- Maintain greens, fairways, roughs, bunkers, and clubhouse areas by performing tasks such as mowing, watering, raking, and trimming.
- Operate golf course vehicles and light-powered equipment, including mowers and utility vehicles.
- Care for established trees and paths by mulching, weeding, trimming, or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls.
- Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hand saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes, to perform various tasks.
- Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges using shears, pruners, or chain saws.
- Gather and remove litter, trash, and other debris on property.
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders under supervision.
- Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, or other grounds features.
Requirements
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Possess a valid driver's license and ability to operate golf course vehicles and equipment safely.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with turf management principles and practices preferred.
