Overview
EagleView, the leader in aerial imagery, is hiring an HR Coordinator. In this role you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR initiatives and fostering a positive work environment. Reporting directly to the Director, HR Operations, you will be responsible for the coordination of HR activities across the employee lifecycle, including but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, leave of absence administration, personnel changes, record management, and payroll administrations backup. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices, a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for supporting employees.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for HR inquiries, efficiently managing the HR Mailbox and directing inquiries as needed.
• Provide responsive support to employees, partnering with managers as needed on various HR matters, including benefits, leave management, and policy adherence.
• Own setup and maintenance of HR articles and workflows in IT ticketing system.
• Understand and interpret HR policies and procedures, applying knowledge when answering HR inquiries.
• Process job, pay, and personnel changes with accuracy and timeliness into ADP ensuring data integrity.
• Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance workflow efficiencies.
• Collaborate across the HR organization by actively participating in projects and initiatives.
• Manage employee reward and recognition program, ensuring timely processing of awards and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
• Document and update internal business processes as needed.
• Participates in other duties, as assigned.
Onboarding/Offboarding:
• Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires by coordinating paperwork and administrative tasks.
• Maintain compliance by completing I9 forms and E-Verifications. Stay current on laws and regulations.
• Facilitate the offboarding process for departing employees, ensuring all necessary documentation is handled accurately, according to statutory laws, and actions are completed.
Leave of Absence (LOA):
• Collaborate with the LOA third party administrator to coordinate LOA processes effectively.
• Ensures proper payment of leaves and administration of benefits billing.
• Provide guidance and support to employees regarding leave of absence policies and processes.
Payroll Backup:
• Provide regular backup support for HR Administrator in payroll processing and other HR administration when required.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
• 2 - 3 years’ experience in an HR role, such as an HR Coordinator or Administrator.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems.
• General understanding of the employee lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective organization, attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
Preferred Experience:
• 1 year of experience in payroll administration.
• ADP Workforce Now experience.
• Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret and effectively articulate HR policies and procedures.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
