Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. You will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans that align with our curriculum and foster a love for learning.

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and overall early childhood education.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, providing individualized support as needed.
  • Engage children in hands-on activities that encourage exploration and discovery.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to support the children's development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development.
  • Incorporate special education strategies to support children with diverse learning needs.
  • Provide toddler care as necessary, ensuring the well-being of all students.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or higher may apply

  • Experience working with young children in an educational setting is ideal not necessary.
  • Strong skills in lesson planning and curriculum development.
  • Knowledge of literacy education techniques and math concepts for preschoolers.
  • Experience in special education is a plus.
  • Ability to create engaging learning experiences tailored to individual student needs.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • A nurturing attitude with a commitment to fostering children's growth and development.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.10 - $13.07 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to Commute:

  • Canfield, OH 44406 (Required)
