Teachers Assistant/Kitchen Support

Little Explorers Academy in Chino is growing and opening up more exciting classrooms and therefore we are seeking qualified, friendly, and loving staff to join our Academy. We serve children between the ages of 2-5yrs old. Candidates must enjoy working with children, be compassionate, patient and be willing to work as a team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• Must have at least 12 ECE units (Including Child, Family, & Community; Child Development; Curriculum; Child Health & Safety; etc.)
• Must meet state licensing requirements of education, experience, and health documentation in a preschool or child care center.
• Pediatric First Aid and CPR certified
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms – Title 22
• Must be willing to work Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides Teachers Breaks in fifteen minute increments
• Serves as a Teachers Assistant when servicing the classroom environment
• Prepares morning/afternoon snacks according to monthly menu
• Prepares lunches based on monthly menu
• Holds accurate inventory of all kitchen supplies/food supply
• Maintains the kitchen facility in a clean and organized fashion

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
