This is for the 2025-26 school year, starting approximately August 12, 2025.
This position works 7.5 hours per day 190 day calendar
Schedule: 8:15 A.M. - 3:45 P.M
Starting salary: $46,905.00 per year with standard benefits

POSITION SUMMARY: Professional instructional position that provides support to individual students and their families by coordinating and providing services in discrete trial trainings and applied behavior analyses.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Evaluates students for Applied Behavior Analysis programming and development of assessment report.
- Assists in the development, facilitation, conduction and follow up of training applied behavior analysis.
- Monitors student’s on-going progress.
- Provides model teaching and other direct instructional supports.
- Facilitates and assists in the development/identification of resources and support information.
- Keeps current with literature, new research finding and resources.
- Provides consultation services and maintains ongoing communication with all constituents including Rockwood School District staff, parents, community contacts and agencies.
- Performs other duties and assumes such other responsibilities as assigned.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and policy and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively one-on-one and before groups.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and percentage.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to talk and hear, stand, walk, sit and use hands and arms to handle, feel and reach while performing the duties and responsibilities of this job
- Ability to stoop or kneel and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Regular attendance on the job is expected.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field is required with ability to obtain board certification as an Associate Behavior Analyst.
- Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCaBA) is preferred
- Knowledge and experience working with children with Autism Spectrum or related disorders.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices governing Special Education as it pertains to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
- Experience using behavioral and instructional strategies with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders
