What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director for Early Childhood Education Center position at Early Childhood Education Program?
The Assistant Director is responsible for maintaining a developmentally appropriate program of quality child care in an environment where values are integrated and demonstrated. The Assistant Director will support the program and services of the Early Childhood Center.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage day-to-day operation.
· Ensure that the programs complies with EEC licensing requirements and NAEYC Standards.
· Hire, train, evaluate, supervise and dismiss teachers and staff.
· Provide leadership and supervision of interactions, activities, and materials appropriate for teachers and young children’s emotional, social, intellectual and physical development.
· Early Childhood Center.
· Maintain an inviting physical environment which fosters optimal growth and development.
· Provide professional assistance to the Board of Directors of the Early Childhood Center.
· Represent the program in the community.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Must have EEC Director certification; Early Childhood Administration Credentials
· Must have relevant experience
· Must have leadership, management and organizational skills
· Must have NO criminal convictions for child related offenses, including neglect or abuse
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
