Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with young children, to assess their behavioral health, social emotional needs and develop effective early intervention plans. You will be responsible for implementing therapeutic intervention plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and have experience in data collection and medical documentation.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify behavioral health needs and challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic evaluations.
- Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to facilitate positive changes in patients' behavior.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Provide support and guidance to staff and families regarding behavioral health issues and treatment options.
Experience
- Degree in Psychology, Education, or related field
- RBT or BCBA certification
- Proven experience in behavioral therapy, particularly with young children, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices is essential.
- Experience in conducting diagnostic evaluations and assessments is preferred.
- Ability to collect and interpret data effectively to inform treatment decisions.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
