Company Overview
EICS, LLC is currently seeking 1 Positive Behavior Support Specialist. This is for the Michelle P Waiver Program. The position will provide services to participants/children/adolescents with intellectual disabilities, autism and other diagnoses. The PBSS will work in Hardin and Grayson Counties. The Positive Behavior Support Specialist shall be an individual who provides evidence-based interventions, which assist their clients with acquisition or maintenance of skills for community living and behavioral intervention for the reduction of maladaptive behaviors. This may include developing functional assessments, developing behavior plans, monitoring/implementation of behavior plans, working with the client and their caregivers and appropriate documentation of services.
Position will be approximately 10-25 hours per week. Position could grow into more hours if candidate was interested.
Position Requirements
- Completed a master’s degree in a behavioral science and one year of experience in behavioral programming;
- Complete state mandated training for PBSS position
- Have at least one year of direct service experience with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
- Participates in at least six hours per years of professional development or continuing education in the areas of psychology, behavioral supports, applied behavioral science or school psychology.
