The Early Learners Academy, a small, family-owned daycare in Kansas City, Kansas, is looking for caring and creative teachers to join our team! We are specifically hiring for our Older Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-K classrooms with small, manageable class sizes to support a positive learning environment.
Positions Available:
Opening Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Closing Shift: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting Pay: $15/hour- negotiable with experience
($15.50/hour for spanish speaking teachers) – negotiable with experience
Quarterly performance bonuses & annual bonuses (for full-time employees)
Yearly raises
PTO accrued after one year
Continuing education opportunities after 90 days (We are a Head Start program!)
Monthly training sessions
Spring Break, Winter Break & major holidays off
Full-time positions are 32 hours per week.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood education and literacy skills.
- Manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment for preschool-aged children.
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student development and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum development and support special education initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Child Development Associate Certification standards and foster a nurturing atmosphere for all students.
