**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated toddler or preschool assistant teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, possess a strong understanding of early childhood development, and be enthusiastic about creating a nurturing learning environment for young learners. Working hours would afternoons, M-F.
**Duties:**
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children
- Conduct activities that promote physical, mental, and social development
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns
**Skills:**
- Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting
- Ability to engage young learners in educational activities
- Understanding of childhood development principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues as well as work as an effective member of the team
- Certification in early childhood education or related field is preferred
