Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Floater to join our educational team. The Floater will be responsible for conducting the classroom the same way the lead teacher would. This includes, posting on brightwheel, communicating with parents, and implementing lesson plans. As a floater, you will complete daily cleaning and helping the director with any needs necessary.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in daily classroom activities and routines.
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and other activities.
- Fill in a classroom when a teacher is out.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Keep parents updated on brightwheel.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff on a daily basis.
- Adapt to various classroom settings and age groups as required.
Experience
- 1 year minimum experience in a center setting
- Brightwheel or able to effectively use brightwheel as needed
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
Requirements
- Comfortable with ages 6 weeks - 5 years old

-TB Test
-High school diploma
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
