About The Role
Known as the 'Manager of Leader Operations,' the Chief of Staff will be pivotal in collaborating with the leadership team and constructively challenging them to drive special projects and key initiatives to success. The Chief of Staff will build a trusted reputation for streamlining operations, ensuring the seamless execution of strategic initiatives, and fostering meaningful cross-departmental collaboration. This role will be pivotal in creating a cohesive, high-functioning team environment, where everyone feels supported and aligned toward shared goals.
The Chief of Staff acts as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior executives, driving efficiency and collaboration across the organization. Responsibilities include managing executive priorities, streamlining operations, leading high-impact projects, and facilitating strategic decision-making. This role ensures the organization remains focused on its overarching goals by handling critical communication, anticipating needs, and resolving complex issues proactively.
This role reports directly to Dr. Peter Attia and oversees two direct reports : an Executive Assistant and a Personal Assistant. There are also dotted-line relationships with senior leaders and external partners. The Chief Operating Officer may also provide mentorship and support career development, especially when additional guidance or access to information is needed.

His passion lies in strategic planning and innovation, rather than day-to-day leadership management. Having never had a Chief of Staff before, this role would be a new and essential partnership. With over 30 years of experience across medicine, energy, consulting, and medical research, Peter seeks someone who can match his energy, align with his sense of urgency, and outpace his speed of preparation.
His current priorities include : reducing his workload on non-core responsibilities, optimizing his schedule, redefining company strategies, tracking KPIs, and rigorously pressure-testing strategic ideas.
Hybrid / Remote Clarity
While this organization is fully remote with no HQ office, we are prioritizing candidates who reside in the Austin area to facilitate in-person meetups and ensure proximity to the CEO.
We are only considering candidates within the Central Time Zone (CST) to align seamlessly with the CEO's schedule and support effective collaboration during early morning meetings, maintaining the rhythm of the Office of the CEO.

Salary Range
The annual base salary range for this role is between $150-175K, accompanied by significant incentives designed for high performers who thrive in high-risk, high-reward environments. This package allows top talent to actively participate in the financial growth and success of the company, directly benefiting from their contributions.
There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, the highest level of completed education, and years of experience sought / required.
