The firm has made tremendous technology advances in recent years and are looking for Chief of Staff to support our companies growth.

About the Role

Seeking an accomplished and highly skilled Chief of Staff to join the team, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with our executive team. As Chief of Staff, you'll help drive organizational accountability in a variety of key business metrics. You will be responsible for crafting and setting business priorities, shaping team engagement and communications strategy by strengthening the link between the leadership team and broader organization. You will inevitably gain the visibility and experience into what it takes to lead a complex organization and assist in running business operations. This role is highly collaborative, working with a broad range of colleagues across numerous functions and locations to help our firm remain on track to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Drive accountability across a variety of key business metrics
  • Work with our CEO, CTO, and Leadership team to design our short and long term org structures
  • Identify opportunities across the org to drive process improvements, produce data-driven recommendations, and help program-manage high impact projects
  • Act as a filter for the executive team to ensure CXO time is spent on highest priority work
  • Balance research, business development, and client relationship objectives
  • Own quality - ensure we are presenting the highest quality targets aligned with our client’s strategy
  • Prepare meeting decks for the board, all hands, and exec strategy sessions
  • Support client relations - including but not limited to development, onboarding, and opportunity presentation

Outcomes

  • Create additional leverage for the CEO by assuming ~30% of internal strategy and organizational communications
  • Successfully drive 3 special projects to completion (e.g. non-executive hiring, marketing content creation, KPI automation etc.) and minimize CXO involvement in early stages of special projects
  • Engage the executive team at the appropriate times for ongoing special projects
  • Drive accountability and next steps across CEO’s highest priorities
  • Proactively leverage the company’s investors / advisor network and the executive teams’ personal networks to create more leverage for the company across sales, hiring, PR, and product development
  • Skillset

  • MBA or Bachelors with at least 3 years of equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in private equity research or management consulting highly desirable
  • Low ego with high degree of ownership; extremely resourceful and scrappy
  • Possess a sophisticated mix of emotional intelligence and people-centered acumen
  • Executive-level written and verbal communication skills in order to interact with senior leadership and board members with confidence and poise
  • Extremely process oriented with the ability to build structure and programs from scratch
  • Confidence and professionalism in challenging leaders when appropriate
  • Ability to structure a compelling storyline and build presentation decks and briefing documents
