Job Title: Executive Administrator/HR Coordinator

Position Summary:
The Executive Administrator/HR Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of both administrative and human resources functions at EarlystART. This position provides executive-level support to leadership while overseeing HR-related tasks, compliance, and staff coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting an early childhood education environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Administration & Office Management
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Director and leadership team.
- Manage schedules, meetings, and communication on behalf of the leadership team.
- Maintain confidential records, documents, and organizational policies.
- Coordinate board meetings, take minutes, and ensure follow-ups are completed.
- Assist with center licensing, accreditation, and compliance documentation.
Human Resources Coordination
- Assist with the recruitment, onboarding, and orientation of new staff members.
- Maintain employee records, including certifications, background checks, and training logs.
- Track staff attendance, PTO, and assist in payroll processing.
- Support leadership in performance management and professional development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, childcare licensing regulations, and organizational policies.
Staff & Family Engagement Support
- Serve as a point of contact for staff HR-related inquiries and concerns.
- Assist with coordinating staff training, workshops, and team-building activities.
- Support family engagement initiatives, ensuring smooth communication between families and the center.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- 2 years of administrative and/or HR experience, preferably in an education or childcare setting.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and childcare licensing regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Salary : $50 - $60
