Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage daily dispatching tasks, ensuring accurate and timely scheduling of resources.
- Coordinate with field teams and vendors to maintain smooth operational workflows.
- Proactively address dispatch challenges and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Oversee invoice coding and month-end financial contributions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Track and optimize equipment utilization rates and coordinate rate management with vendors.
- Maintain and update dispatching data within internal systems, such as Viewpoint or similar platforms.
- Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams, including finance, field operations, and project management, to ensure alignment on initiatives.
- Support company-wide projects focused on dispatching process improvement.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to secure favorable agreements and ensure service reliability.
- Serve as the point of contact for escalations related to dispatch operations, delivering exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives to develop best practices for dispatch operations and document process improvements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2–5 years in a dispatching or logistics coordination role, with progressive responsibility.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Proficiency in dispatching software, operational tracking tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate vendor agreements and manage cost controls.
- Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
- Adaptable and proactive in addressing operational challenges.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
