What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager position at Earth Development?
Are you passionate about building lasting customer relationships and delivering top-tier service? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where every day presents new challenges and opportunities? If so, we want you on our team!
At Earth Development, we’re looking for an Account Manager who will go beyond customer service to truly champion our clients. This role is about more than just managing accounts—it’s about owning relationships, advocating for client needs, and driving long-term success. Your work will have a direct impact, ensuring our customers receive the best possible service and solutions.
For over 25 years, Earth Development has been a trusted partner to some of the world’s most recognizable brands and has been rated as “The Best Place to Work” by the Snow and Ice Management Association for the past three years. Our commercial snow and ice management services keep businesses running smoothly, no matter what winter brings. And as a year-round partner, we enhance the beauty and functionality of our clients' properties through expert lawn care, landscaping, and parking lot maintenance. Our company is growing, and we’re searching for an Account Manager to play a key role in our continued success.
We don’t just perform services—we solve problems. Our work is about understanding the real challenges our clients face and delivering solutions they can trust. That’s why we need someone who can read between the lines, anticipate needs before they arise, and go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
As our Account Manager, you’ll be the face of Earth Development to our valued customers. Your role will include:
- Owning the customer lifecycle – from onboarding to long-term success
- Serving as the single point of contact for assigned customers
- Building strong relationships by understanding client needs and aligning our services accordingly
- Proactively engaging customers before contract renewals to secure multi-year partnerships
- Working closely with our internal teams to resolve issues and enhance service delivery
- Identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize value for customers and Earth Development
- Maintaining accurate records in our CRM to ensure smooth communication and tracking
- Driving customer satisfaction and retention through strategic outreach and problem-solving
This role might be for you if you:
- Take ownership of your work and thrive in a performance-driven environment
- Are coachable, adaptable, and open to feedback
- Enjoy problem-solving and working collaboratively to find solutions
- Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Are organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks
- Work with integrity, passion, and high standards
- Want to grow with a company that values your contributions
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in customer success, account management, or a similar B2B role
- A track record of meeting goals and delivering results
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Experience in the landscaping or snow removal industry is a plus but not required
What You’ll Get in Return
- Respect and recognition for your contributions
- Supportive leadership that invests in your success
- Opportunities for professional development and career growth
- A collaborative, team-oriented culture
- Competitive compensation, benefits, and bonuses
- A flexible work model with travel opportunities and expense reimbursement
If you’re ready to take ownership of customer relationships and drive success in a growing company, we’d love to hear from you!
