Description
Restaurant Bartenders are responsible for providing service and preparing beverages for the patrons of the bar and restaurant. Bartenders represent the club to all members, assisting with member needs, and completing all daily duties and assigned projects utilizing the principles, policies and standards of Homestead Country Club.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure satisfaction for all members through proper progression of service sequence.
- Be fully conversant with a wide array of specialty drinks and cocktails.
- Adhere to all pouring standards.
- Card all guests, not serve or allow service of alcohol to minors, not serve guests who appear to be intoxicated.
- Have the ability to service multiple tables and guests in an efficient manner.
- Know all menu item ingredients, be conversant with the cooking techniques of each item, know the correct presentation of each menu item.
- Know how to efficiently operate the POS system.
- In all interactions associate must always be professional, accommodating, helpful and friendly.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or at least one (1) year of previous experience as a food and beverage server or bartender or another related field.
- Previous customer service experience desired.
- Must be team oriented, empathetic, friendly and show initiative.
- Must be able to represent the club in a professional manner to members and guests.
Salary : $18 - $20
