Job Description:

• Maintain ongoing preventive/corrective fleet maintenance program
• Support Director of Operations to ensure operations and company needs are met
• Monitor all opportunities to cut cost and improve efficiencies
• Review reports including safety, repairs and breakdowns
• Assure all data is updated and maintained regularly
• Oversee repairs, parts and schedules accordingly
• Evaluate vendors on pricing and services
• Evaluate equipment performance and make recommendations accordingly
• Act as liaison between Operations, Finance and Shop personnel
• Other duties as assigned
• Leadership, Training and development of proper procedures
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Comfortable working in fast paced environment with changing priorities
• Able to communicate with all levels of the organization
• Able to work autonomously, self-directed, organized and detail oriented
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong Microsoft office knowledge and ability to learn new software
• Valid Driver’s license
• Must be able to travel as needed (25%)
• Must be familiar with light-heavy truck/trailer repair and maintenance
• 3 yrs in fleet management
• Landscape fleet experience preferred
