Work Schedule: 100% On-Site

Compensation: $135,000 - $155,000 base salary plus performance-based bonus

Position Overview

Our client, a fast-growing PE-backed company in the Greater Houston Metro Area, is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee and manage their financial operations. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and the successful management of the company's accounting processes. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for driving process improvements, supporting the company’s growth strategy, and leading the accounting team. The position requires the candidate to work on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger oversight, financial reporting, and accounts payable/receivable.
• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements, maintaining strong internal controls.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and private equity stakeholders to implement financial strategies that support business growth and profitability.
• Lead financial audits and work closely with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and operational performance.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team to foster a high-performance culture and support career development.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or senior accounting professional, ideally in a PE-backed or high-growth environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience leading month-end close processes, preparing financial statements, and managing audits.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across the organization.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
