Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to support internal and external stakeholders, providing insights and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards, maintaining strong internal controls.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, contributing to financial planning efforts.
- Support financial audits, collaborating with external auditors to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience with month-end close processes, financial statements, and audit preparation.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- Base salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
