- Responsible to review orders, charges and related diagnoses from radiation oncology records to ensure services billed are consistent with the record documentation and current billing/coding regulations.
- Minimum Education
- High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Experience- 2 years' coding experience Credentials from AAPC or AHIMA; or Radiation Oncology Certified Coder credential.
Required Registration/License/Certification- Certification from AHIMA or AAPC
Preferred Education- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Experience- 3 years of oncology coding/billing experience
Preferred Registration/License/Certification- CCS
