What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Community Program Coordinator position at East Bay Community Action Program?
East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is hiring for a full-time Dental Community Program Coordinator. The Coordinator will schedule community dental programs (Molar Express, SMILES), liaison with community partners, schools, and providers, to prioritize and maximize use of community dental resources. Assist in the smooth and efficient running of the practice, to adhere to protocols at all times in line with the company goals and mission.

Make a difference in the lives of patients and children:
- Coordinate and create the community schedule for the Smiles and Molar Express programs.
- Data entry all demographic and billing information into Dental Offices electronic medical record. Scan in any required documentation and add children to appropriate spreadsheets before providing to Dental Provider. Update spreadsheets when they are returned from area schools.
- Perform annual and initial insurance verification checks for patients scheduled for community services.
- Monitor services provided to community dental patients and ensure follow-up care is scheduled, referred out, etc.
- Prepare community care bookings for the upcoming months and publish where appropriate.
- Obtain and collate daily counts by dental provider, and daily counts of services rendered by Molar Express. Add data to RADAR reporting website.
- Liaison with Van Driver and school nurses to ensure adherence to schedule, proactively discuss issues, etc.
Your skills & experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous experience working in the dental field and utilizing an electronic dental record preferred. Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese a plus.
