What are the responsibilities and job description for the Development Intern position at East Bay Community Action Program?
East Bay Community Action Program is seeking a temporary 20-hour-a-week intern to Join our team to support the planning and execution of EBCAP's annual Gala fundraiser. Under the direction of the Communications & Development Director, you'll develop auction donor leads, solicit donations, maintain contributor databases, and create promotional materials.

We are a non-profit comprehensive community action program and Federally Qualified Health Center providing essential Health care and social services in eastern Rhode Island.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in communications/marketing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in fundraising or event planning preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability for occasional evening work
- Solicit auction donations in writing, and by phone or in person.
